LTT Vending Director scales Kilimanjaro!

LTT's New Business Development Director Manish Shah scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro in aid or Practical Action.

It took Manish 3 days to climb the 5895m to the summit of the highest mountain in Africa. His climb raised over £2500 for Practical Action.
Practical Action works with poor communities to help them choose and use technology to improve their lives for today and generations to come.

Just under £100 raised by LTT for Cancer Charities!

The staff at LTT Vending have raised nearly £100 for Cancer charities .

LTT staff have taken part in The World's Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillian Cancer Support - baking various cakes and goodies and charging a pound for a Coffee and Cake on 30th September 2011.

On October 28th October the LTT Vending staff took part in Wear it Pink day in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign, each member of staff paid a pound to wear pink for the day.

LTT Raise 1st £1000 for "Talking Books for Children"

LTT Vending are celebrating raising their first £1000 for the RNIB's "Talking Books for Children" service, and can now publish their first TALKING BOOK. 

The Royal National Institute for the Blind(RNIB) is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost 2 million people with sight loss. Fewer than 1 in 20 titles published in the UK are available in the format blind and partially sighted people can read. The RNIB's Talking Book Service offer 18,000 high quality audio books to over 39,000 people in the Uk making it the largest unabidged collection of audio books in the U.K. 
Each audio books is read by professional narrators or the author including popular childrens titles such as the "Harry Potter" series.

LTT have very strong links to the RNIB as their chairman Michael Levi, is himself partially  sighted and uses the Talking Book Service. LTT's goal is to raise £10,000 to produce 10 Talking Books for Children.
